Dr Everett was raised in a small animal practice. His father was a small animal practice owner in northern Michigan for 40 years. He started his veterinary career cleaning cages and picking up after the team there. He graduated from the University of Colorado
in 2001 With a degree in Organismic Biology. He then continued on to the Ross University of Veterinary Medicine in St. Kitts and Nevis and graduated in 2007. Dr Everett practiced in Boulder Colorado for 5 years before moving to Boise Idaho and practicing there
for another 14 years. Having moved to Austin Texas in 2026 to take over as Medical Director of Paz East he is looking forward to helping grow the team here in Austin.

When not in the hospital you can find Dr Everett in the woods, on a trail or on the lake with his wife and daughter. The Everett's have two dogs, Leonard and Reynold to adorable labrador retrievers and three cats, Royce, Ilah and the newest addition Benny.
